Notes - My name is Jean Sabourin. I was married to Gilbert Sabourin, the oldest son of Berangere Sabourin (George), nee Whissell. She was the daughter of Alexandre Whissell and Rosanna Lagrois. Your information has helped to fill in the spaces and correct some spelling errors. In the 60's my mother-in-law gave me a lot of information re the Whissells. She now lives in Napierville, QC.
My sister-in-law contacted me on Sunday to find out information about her father, George Sabourin, and I noticed in my notes that Octave Whissell had lived in St-Andre-Avellin. I googled that town and found your site.
