  WHISSELL, Gérald - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Monday, April 23rd, 2007 at the age of 74 years. Son of the late Thomas and of the late Rosa (née Martin) Whissell. Husband of the late Alma Whissell (née Lemieux), predeceased May 25th, 2005. Loving father of Denis Whissell (Monique) of Coniston and Monique Whissell and Lise Whissell (Denis Blais) both of Sudbury. Dear brother of Eglantine Poulin, Dea Whissell (Jacqueline) and Agnès Lafrenière tous de Coniston, Janette Brisson (Joe) and Claude Whissell (Claudette) both of St-Charles and Rodolphe Whissell (Marcelle) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his brothers, Raoul, Ovide, Roland, Richard and by his sister Jeanne d'Arc. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Joel and Patrick. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 28th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in La Toussaint Church, Sudbury.
