Il était le fils de feu Edgar Whissell et de feu Gilberte Cloutier. Outre par ses parents, il fut prédécédé par son fils Jean-Marc (Kathy). Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Michel, Jocelyne (Rick), Daniel (Kim) et Nathalie (Mario); la mère de ses enfants, Julienne De Repentigny; ses petits-enfants: Damien, Elizabeth, Sean, Natasha, Jessica, Melissa, Amanda, Christine, Rachel et Sébastien et ses 4 arrière-petits-enfants. Il laisse également ses soeurs: Claudette (Réal) et Francine; son frère Marcel (feu Charlene), ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis. Il fut prédécédé par sa soeur Denise (feu Willy) et ses frères: Raymond et Robert (Wendy). La famille invite parents et amis à la Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier 180 ch. Survived by 4 great-grandchildren and by Julienne De Repentigny the mother of his children. He will be missed by his sisters Claudette (Real) and Francine, his brother Marcel (late Charlene) as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his sister Denise (late Willy) and his brothers Raymond and Robert (Wendy).
