1. Michel FRENET was born about 1643 (son of Michel FRENET and Christine JUNEAU); died on 17 Nov 1717 in Cap Sante,,,QUEBEC,,. Notes:
Ce "sabotier" est domestique de Bertrand Chesnay sieur de la Garenne dès 1665. Au recensement de 1667, il est à l'emploi de Raymond Pagé. Il demeure alors sur la côté de Beaupré. Il va s'établir à Neuville vers 1678. Le sieur Nicolas Dupont lui concède en 1680 une terre de 3 arpents de front par 40 arpents de profondeur à cet endroit. Après une vingtaine d'années à cet endroit, il vend sa terre et va s'établir à Rivière Jacques-Cartier. Le 28 avril 1708, le sieur François de Chavigny lui concède une terre de 6 arpents de front par 40 arpents de profondeur dans sa seigneurie de La Chevrotière. Il décède à Cap-Santé où il est inhumé le 17 novembre 1717. Son épouse décède au même endroit le 7 août 1729. (source: Dictionnaire de Michel Langlois, Tome II)
